Toyota Dealer Serving Easton Area: Toyota has rolled out the third member of the Prius family, dubbed the “c” as in “city,” which joins the Prius Liftback, Prius v and the Prius Plug-in Hybrid. As the name suggests, it’s a subcompact, five-door hatchback designed to be easy to live with in urban America. It’s noticeably smaller than the original Prius, giving up 9 inches in length, 1 inch in height, 2 inches in width and nearly 6 inches of wheelbase. It’s also 542 pounds lighter. The result is 53 mpg in the city, higher than car without a plug. Aimed at younger buyers the Prius c is priced under $19,000, but offers a variety of available convenience and in-car electronics features, including Toyota’s new Entune system.
