The 2019 Toyota Avalon Hybrid lineup is made up of three trim levels – the 2019 Avalon Hybrid XLE, the 2019 Avalon Hybrid XSE, and the 2019 Avalon Hybrid Limited. All three new Avalon Hybrid models are powered by a 2.5-liter Dynamic Force four-cylinder Toyota Hybrid System II engine paired with a 650-volt electric motor and a continuously-variable transmission. This powertrain provides up to a total of 215 horsepower and 163 pound-feet of torque while getting up to 43 city MPG and 44 highway MPG for the 2019 Avalon Hybrid XLE trim level, and up to 43 city MPG and 43 highway MPG for the 2019 Avalon Hybrid XSE and Limited trim levels.
Since the 2019 Toyota Avalon Hybrid lineup can feature a moonroof, your interior space depends on whether or not you decide to include a moonroof. New Avalon Hybrid models that feature a moonroof offer 102.6 cubic-feet of passenger space, while new Avalon Hybrid models that don’t feature a moonroof offer 103.8 cubic-feet of passenger space. New Avalon Hybrid models offer 16 cubic-feet of cargo capacity regardless of whether or not you have a moonroof.
