This powertrain also features direct fuel injection for enhanced engine responsiveness, a 6-speed automatic transmission complete with a torque convertor, and a new Sport Mode for improved acceleration.

The 2020 Toyota Yaris Hatchback lineup also boasts a full slate of new features – a list that includes new side mirrors with integrated LED turn signals, a new 7-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a newly standard low-speed pre-collision safety system, and an advanced new active safety system.
